How to use Microsoft Copilot on Mac

Whether you want to create text or images using AI, it is important to learn how to use Microsoft Copilot and if you have a Mac, you can do it without any problems.

Copilot is clearly a tool that is gaining popularity thanks to the large number of functions that Microsoft is adding.  Which makes it a very useful option.  We have several ways to access this tool and we will see them in this article.

  From Microsoft Edge

With Microsoft Browser, it's really easy, because Microsoft makes it much easier for us to use their browser.  What we have to do is simply visit copilot.microsoft.com, click Install application in the address bar and then confirm by clicking Install when the message appears.

  Copilot app

An important thing to note is that as of this writing, Microsoft has not released a dedicated app for Mac. If your Mac runs on Apple Silicon or has MacOS 12 or later, or a Mac with an Apple M1 chip or later, what we can do  What it did was support iPad apps.

This way what we can do is use the iPad app but on Mac, what we will do is open the App Store on Mac and search for Copilot.  When we find the Microsoft tool, we will click Get to install the application.  Although we can also get it from the official website.

Once you install it, it's as simple as signing in with your Microsoft account and start using it.

  Install Copilot in Safari

Another easy way to use the tool on Mac is through Safari.  We can go to copilot.microsoft.com and start using it without problems.  Although to keep it simple, we can create an app using the Add to Dock option.

To do this, we visit the Copilot website, then click File in the menu bar and choose Add to Dock.  We'll call it Copilot and the web app will now be added to the Dock.
